3 "Pro" Upgrade & Payments

The "Pro" version currently offers a lifetime license for a one-time fee. This fee grants you access to all existing premium features without recurring monthly subscriptions.
B. Introductory Pricing
Promotional rates (e.g., ₦10,000) are subject to change. Patrido Multimedia reserves the right to adjust pricing for new users at any time. Existing Pro license holders will not be charged again for features included at the time of their purchase.
4 User Responsibility & Data Loss
Your data survives as long as it remains on your device or is synced to your personal Google Drive. You are responsible for maintaining regular backups.
By using the App, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Local data is stored on your device and can be lost if your device is damaged or reset
- It is your responsibility to perform regular cloud backups via Google Drive
- Patrido Multimedia cannot recover lost local data on your behalf
5 Invoicing and Customer Communication
Compliance
Users are responsible for ensuring that the invoices generated by the app meet the specific tax and regulatory requirements of their industry and business type. Pocket Shop Manager provides a general-purpose invoicing tool; it does not guarantee compliance with every sector-specific regulation.
WhatsApp Usage
Patrido Multimedia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms. The app's WhatsApp invoice delivery feature works by opening a standard WhatsApp share intent on your device.
Customer Consent
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from customers before collecting their phone numbers for invoice delivery. Always ensure customers are aware of and comfortable with how their contact information will be used.
6 Hardware Compatibility
Third-Party Printers
Pocket Shop Manager supports standard Bluetooth ESC/POS thermal printers and Wi-Fi network printers for receipt and invoice printing. While we have designed the app to be broadly compatible with common printer models, Patrido Multimedia does not guarantee compatibility with every printer brand or model available on the market.
Limitation of Hardware Liability
Patrido Multimedia is not responsible for the performance, maintenance, malfunction, or failure of any physical printing hardware. Costs associated with purchasing, maintaining, or repairing printers are solely the user's responsibility. We do not provide technical support for third-party printer hardware.
7 Data Integrity & Synchronisation Duty
Offline Sync Reminders
Pocket Shop Manager operates primarily offline. To protect your business records, the app will periodically display Offline Sync Reminders prompting you to connect to the internet and perform a Google Drive backup. These reminders are a critical safety feature.
User Responsibility for Data Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all data entered into the App, including product names, prices, transaction amounts, staff records, and tax-related figures. Pocket Shop Manager processes and displays data exactly as it is entered. Garbage in, garbage out — inaccurate entries will produce inaccurate reports and tax estimates.
Backup Frequency Recommendation
We strongly recommend performing a Google Drive sync at minimum once per week, or immediately after any high-volume trading period such as end-of-month, market days, or festive seasons. The more frequently you sync, the less data you risk losing in the event of device failure or theft.
8 Master Code Responsibility
Sole Ownership of the Master Code
The 4-digit Master Code is the highest level of security credential within Pocket Shop Manager. It grants full access to all business data, settings, financial reports, staff management, and tax records. The business owner is solely and entirely responsible for the confidentiality of their Master Code.
Recovery Email Maintenance
To enable account recovery in the event that your Master Code is lost or forgotten, the app provides a Recovery Email field in Settings → Security. You are responsible for:
- Setting a valid, personal Recovery Email address that only you control
- Keeping this address current and accessible at all times
- Updating it immediately if your email address changes
Recovery Process
To initiate a Master Code recovery, email support@pocketshopmanager.com.ng from your registered Recovery Email address with your business name and a description of the issue. We will verify your identity and guide you through the reset process within a reasonable timeframe.
9 Multi-Business Management
Multiple Shops and Entities
Pocket Shop Manager supports the management of multiple shops or business entities within a single app installation. Each entity maintains its own set of inventory, sales, staff, and tax records.
Data Segregation Responsibility
Users managing multiple businesses under one account are responsible for maintaining accurate data segregation between entities. This includes ensuring that:
- Sales, expenses, and inventory are recorded under the correct business entity
- Staff members are assigned to the appropriate business profile
- Tax records and VAT calculations reflect only the transactions of the intended business
- PDF reports and FIRS CSV exports are generated separately for each business where required
Liability
Patrido Multimedia is not liable for financial discrepancies, tax filing errors, or business losses arising from incorrect data segregation between multiple business entities managed within the App.
10 Professional Advice & Tax Disclaimer
The App includes features designed to assist with Nigerian tax compliance including VAT, Company Income Tax (CIT), and the Education Development Levy. However, the following limitations apply:
Not an Accountant
The App is a management aid and estimation tool, not a certified accounting professional or licensed tax adviser. Calculations provided by the App are for guidance purposes only.
External Filings
You are solely responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of data submitted to the FIRS or any state tax agencies. We do not guarantee that calculations produced by the App will be accepted as final or complete by tax authorities.
11 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Patrido Multimedia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
- The use of or inability to use the App
- Any financial losses arising from business decisions based on App data
- Tax penalties or regulatory actions resulting from App-generated estimates
- Loss of data due to device failure, theft, or user error
- Interruption of service due to technical issues or updates
Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App license, if any.
12 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the App shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in Lagos State, Nigeria.
